SAYING "HELLO" TO THE CLOUDS

At first I was uneasy and unsure about what I should write about. I really couldn't grasp the concept of what I'm suppose to be doing. Just when all hope seemed lost I received inspiration when I at least expected it... 37,000 feet in the air.

For the first time in along time I was in a plane leaving my home. Departing from Jersey (Home) to arrive in Florida. Riding high over the ground, eye contact with the sun while flying through the clouds... the closest I've ever been to heaven.

Right before we land I take one more peak out the window and see the most beautiful sunset ever. As we fall closer to ground the day falls closer into the night, and the sun disappears. And thats when it hits me... that whole experience was just like 2007... one of the greatest things I've had but just like that I had to say good bye.

Start With Straight Shots and Then Pop Bottles

Today Vinny and I packed our gear up and headed over to Newark Airport to catch our 2:30 flight to Orlando, Florida. I’m actually on the plane right now writing this. Mom Dukes is sitting three rows ahead of me and Vin is one row ahead (standby seating is wild). I’m chillen here listening to Hi-Teknology 3, next to my rude Brazilian seat neighbors and I just finished and episode from the first season of The Wire (Crack show if you didn’t already know). Still have a stomach ache from last night’s New Years nonsense. Me and AB got loose at a small New Years bash which was a really good time. Anyway, me and Vin will be in Florida for the next few days. An Orlando Magic game, Universal Studios and maybe some other attractions are in our sights. Stay posted for more pictures. There should be some good ones on the way.

New Year... Same Shit

The cru's plans didn't work out so well so I was left to fend for myself. I spent my New Years Eve. playing Call of Duty 4 and jammin to some Illmatic (yeh, i know... sad). Anyways when the ball dropped I felt like I needed to do something, so I suited up for the cold weather in my hoodie and jacket, put on a mask, grabbed my markers and cans, and went out for another one of my "spraypaint adventures". So for about 2 hours I snuck stealthily around, when I saw this dope spot on a rooftop. I looked around and found a dumpster that I could climb to the roof. Long story short, I almost slipped and broke my neck because of the frost on the dumpster and on the roof. After that I kinda decided to call it quites, incase... you know, I actually died. I was less then a block away from home sweet home when I spotted 5-0 rolling down the street. I wasn't too worried, I played it cool, but they slowed down, and that made me clench my butt cheeks in fear. I got scared for nothing though cause they were just making a turn haha. So I just went inside got on the comp and wrote this. Happy New Years everyone! And stay out of trouble

Reflecting on 07

Happy New Years! 2007 was definitely a year to remember. So many things happened: senior year at Westfield High, prom, the summer, celebrating 6 months with the girlfriend, freshman year at Rutgers. I definitely grew up a lot this year and i'm looking forward to 08'. As for celebrating the New Years, the cru's plans didn't work out so everyone ended up doing their own thing. As for me, i spent the night with the girlfriend. Had some coronas/smirnoff and some good Korean food.
