Watchmen

As many of you already know The Watchmen came out this Friday. Unfortunately I couldn't see it opening day so I had to wait till Saturday. Since I already read the novel, I knew the whole storyline and there was little suspense. My girlfriend on the other hand didn't know anything about the movie, so it was hard for her to follow. The many flashbacks were definitely confusing and there were a lot of parts that were left out. However, if they had tried to fit in everything from the novel the movie would probably be a good five hours long. The costumes were definitely on point though and they did a great job of matching the movie with the novel.

My opinon: great movie for people who have read the novel.
For those who didn't? It's just going to be a confusing three hours.

ECAASU 2009

This past weekend I attended the East Coast Asian American Student Union Convention at Rutgers. The weekend started on Friday night when we first got to Rutgers. The opening consisted of some funny comedy, a wild asian singer, and some dancing by Fresh. Fresh is a dance crew from Jersey and are the only crew I've ever seen kill some Jack Johnson.

Next, I couldn't eat meat because it was Friday so I had to find some pizza. Athena and I found a nice little spot called Panico's on Easton Ave. in New Brunswick.

The next day consisted of meals, a mixer, and workshops. I had Chicken Francese for lunch and a waiter dropped a plate on a girls head. It was wild. The mixer had us doing a wild list of activities like leapfrogging a person in a green shirt to giving someone in the room a piggyback ride. My workshop was a seminar about stereotypes of Asian Americans in sex today. Unfortunately the workshop was not what I expected and actually very boring.

Saturday night consisted of a ridiculous house party for a friend of a friends birthday. Some kids I met at the convention just happened to be there goonin out. Wild night to say the least.

.
My first ECAASU was dope as hell. 2010 is gonna be at UPenn and I'm already suped.

Evidence of a Memory

The other night my girlfriend asked me to come over to her house to help her help her brother with an assignment. The assignment was to pick someone you know who you consider to be your hero, then create a poster representing that person. Lil man picked my girl as his hero so we all joined in 2g to make a poster about her lol. We spent a lil ova an hour going thru her family pix...a piece of her history

this got me to thinking...
life is moving very fast and one day i want to be able look back at a bunch of my pix and just think about the past. (lmao i aint mean to make that rhyme)
Once i got home i went thru all my things to find some off my pix... I found pix of me as a lil kid, me goin thru my awkward stages missing teeth, pix of the crew when we wore big ass jerseys and baggy ass jeans, prom, and jus random pix from here and there.

At that moment i decided to make my own photo album...so ive been gathering old photos from online so that i can one day print them out and start wrk.... lately ive been taking pix with this in mind...trying to take photos that show whr my life is right now...& da cru's...take a peek

I spend alot of time talking to Ab about how things use to be and how things have changed so i guess this is a way to physically look back on the past. Making this photo album is a project that will never be fully completed but its a chance to have evidence of our memories...and one day the memories of my future family
