For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity.

As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream in a city that worships money and status, and is heaven for those who have them and a living nightmare for those who don’t.

Developed by Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV will be available for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system and will be in stores worldwide on April 29, 2008.

I'm On The Dino With The Black Mags

Last night The Cool Kid's hit the stage with Lehigh's very own Divine Rhyme. The show started up with Divine Rhyme "Jaheezy and Sir Shech" rockin a few of their very own tracks to warm the crowd up. The crowd was small, but it was still a good time. Then some group called Old Money came out and did like two or three skits that were hilarious. Unfortunately when they actually started to spit they were trash. Entertaining none the less. Finally after an hour late start, and two decent opening acts, The Cool Kids found their way onto the stage. The opened up rhyming on an old Neptune's beat, and then got into some of their stuff from their EP "Totally Flossed Out". They killed some tracks like "Gold and a Pager" and "I (Mikey) Rock". The crowd seemed to be into it but there wasn't really a moment where I'd say you should have been there. I like the Cool Kids, I think they did a good job tonight, but the concert overall was like a 3 out of 5. I'm sure there tour with MIA and Santo Gold was alot better but whatever. I had a pretty good time. Oh yeah and they had a who's the best dressed segment mid concert. The winner got a free pair of SB's. Check the video of that out and notice the too matching hypebeast's on the right side. Pretty ridiculous. They were getting gunned the entire night. Enjoy the pictures and the video.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Today is one of the biggest drinking holiday's celebrated every year. Thank you Irish people :-) . So grab a shamrock and a friend and hit up the bar tonight. Since none of us can actually do that I hope you had fun over the weekend. This weekend I sipped some green beer, Guinness and Baileys at a small party. Good times.

Oh yeah and check this out. Proposition 317. If you haven't already seen the commercials Guinness is trying to make St. Patrick's Day a national holiday for next year. You have to be 21 to sign but it's worth taking a look at.

"You Gotta Keep the Devil Down in the HOLE!"

Last week mark the end of HBO's most gripping series, The Wire. Most people have never heard of this show, but it openly exposes Baltimore for what it is worth; Drug Ridden Streets, Corrupt Politicians, Poor School System and a Police Force that is Underpaid and Overworked. What an Amazing Show, I suggest you go to your nearest BestBuy and by seasons 1-4 then wait on 5 to come out next fall.

Each season of The Wire focuses on a different facet of the city of Baltimore. They are, in order: the drug trade, the port, the city bureaucracy, the school system, and the print news media. The large cast consists mainly of character actors who are little known for their other roles. Simon has said that despite its presentation as a crime drama, the show is "really about the American city, and about how we live together. It's about how institutions have an effect on individuals, and how…whether you're a cop, a longshoreman, a drug dealer, a politician, a judge [or] lawyer, you are ultimately compromised and must contend with whatever institution you've committed to."

Despite never seeing great commercial success or winning any major television awards, The Wire has frequently been cited by critics as one of the greatest television series of all time. The show is recognized for its realistic portrayal of urban life, artistic ambitions, and uncommonly deep exploration of sociological themes

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

So this post is way overdue. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the third in the trilogy of Smash Bros. games dropped on March 9th. Since the ASSC goes too hard we got the game on the 7th, two days before it came out. As soon as the game was popped into the Wii all hell broke loose. Chills ran up our spines as we watched the loading screen (Yes, we are that crazy about this game), and we had to watch the entire intro before getting into actual game play. Graphically the game is leaps and bounds ahead of the previous versions released. There are a ridiculous amount of new characters, levels, moves, and even a story mode. The story is extensive and took a while to complete, but completion is a must in order to unlock all of the characters. I honestly have to say the game has gotten a five out of five star rating by the ASSC. "I might have to buy a Wii just for this game."- Vinny. The game is that good, there's no other way to put it. The game has drawn too many people to my dorm room, and people are playing it around the clock. Get your hands on this game ASAP or get your friend who owns a Wii to buy it immediately.
Quality of the video's isn't the greatest. My cam died so I was using a phone to take the video.

Keep your thumbs limber,

Weekday Events

So being home for break is not quite like being home for the summer. The weather isn't perfect, there aren't as many parties, and your boys have school still everyday. Don't get me wrong I cherish every moment at home, but there is no time better than the summer. So what do I do each day to keep busy while home for break? Let's run through some of the casual happenings in the life of The Jessinator. Let's start off with haircare and conditioning.

When a friend needs a haircut what do you do? No, you do not give him ten dollars for a cut, but you ask where the clippers are. In this case RichieKev asked Vinny and I to give him a hair cut. Me and Vinny have never done this before, but were still nice with it.

Just don't ask us to do a fade.

My next venture was to spend some quality time with my dad. We headed over to Newark, NJ to see the freshly built arena. This arena is now home to the Seton Hall Pirates and the New Jersey Devils. I have to say its pretty nice.

Anyway getting back to the summer events, the ASSC has decided that we are all gonna try to learn how to do something new this summer. It should be a fun time documenting our growth in a craft we know little about. I've chosen to learn how to skateboard. I wear SB's so I might as well see what these kicks are meant to do. I got into it a little bit yesterday to give myself a preview of what this summer might be like. It wasn't pretty.

I'll be nice before sophomore year in college.
Last night Vinny, RichieKev and I took a trip down to Rutgers New Brunswick to visit some friends. We didn't get to participate in any Thirsty Thursday parties but we had a good time nonetheless.

And thats all in a weeks worth of time.

Stay on the grind,
Jessinator

P.S. The ASSC goes so hard that we got Super Smash Bros. Brawl two days before it came out. But look for RichieKev on more info about that.

Weekend Reunion

So what does one do on a weekend home for break? Check out a friend's new apartment, check out a guido hookah bar, go bowling with the squad, or a little rasterbation?

Get your rasterbation up. ASSC should be on all of your walls. And yes it's true, the ASSC doesn't like ugly sluts.

Keep bowling,
