Where the wild things are...

This truly looks amazing, I never read the book, buy i loved the pictures.

Where the Wild Things Are (trailer) from muzzed on Vimeo.
The Book
The book tells the story of Max, who one evening plays around his home, "making mischief" in a wolf costume by chasing the dog with a fork and growling at his mom. As punishment, his mother sends him to bed without supper. In his room, a mysterious, wild forest grows out of his imagination, and Max journeys to the land of the Wild Things. The Wild Things are fearsome-looking monsters, but Max conquers them "by staring into their yellow eyes without blinking once," and he is made "the King of all Wild Things." However, he soon finds himself lonely and homesick, and he returns home to his bedroom, where he finds his supper waiting for him, still hot.
The Film
The film concerns the imaginary adventures of a young boy named Max, who is angry when his mother, Connie, invites her boyfriend over. After causing one mischievous antic after another, he is sent to his room without supper. Feeling angry and unloved, he then creates a forest bordering a massive ocean, and sails away to an island inhabited by many large imaginary monsters called the Wild Things, who crown him as their ruler. During his time on the island, he befriends the wild thing Carol, who teaches him the meaning of love.

Sarah is an artist who suffered sexual abuse by a teacher and inappropriate behavior by her father, whom she has tried unsuccessfully to have imprisoned, and to whom she has not spoken for eight years, a silence that is broken when he calls her in Episode 4.[26] She has dedicated herself to advocate for survivors of abuse as an art therapist. She hopes to show her art in a gallery, and recently began a relationship with a man to whom her mother introduced her, one of her first heterosexual relationships, as most of her prior ones were with women,[7] though she prefers not to label her sexual orientation.[27] Sarah, whose appearance is described to be that of a "tattooed punk", is observed by The Brooklyn Paper to be the only cast member with an interest in anyone else on a deeper level in the premiere, as contrasted with the gossip-like focus of the other castmates' discussions

Somthings Wrong with Jack

In my psy class we've been studying different age groups and the thought process of each group...accord to the text books and my psy teacher during this time in our lives (if you're in my age group) we spend our time questioning life and reasons for life. Maybe I'm being mellow dramatic or just feeding into this hype but it seems sum what accurate. If you look pass my nonchalant outer coat you would see that I often stress over things I can't control...or ask questions that there's no answer to. I cant wait til this young life crises ends and when just living and enjoying begins (& I know I'm not alone when I say that).

To my knowledge humans are the only organisms that questions life which i think just makes life more complicated to live.

P.S the title has nothing to do with anything; I just happen to be watch Nightmare Before Christmas right and the town's ppl are singing "Somethings Wrong with Jack" so I stole that for my title... it was eitha that or Oogie Boogie

March Madness

Did you really think today would go by without a March Madness post? Many people wait the entire year for today to commence. The next few weeks will be filled with wild plays, big upsets, and most obviously great basketball. I'm going to enjoy the coming games until the Big Dance is finally over. I didn't make a bracket this year but I think I'm gonna root for Syracuse, especially after that wild game they had with UConn about a week ago.

There it is.

Happy Saint Patricks Day

Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated worldwide by the those of Irish descent and increasingly by non-Irish people (usually in New Zealand, Australia, and North America). Celebrations are generally themed around all things Irish and, by association, the colour green. Both Christians and non-Christians celebrate the secular version of the holiday by wearing green, eating Irish food and/or green foods, imbibing Irish drink (such as Irish stout, Irish Whiskey or Irish Cream) and attending parades.

Youth Novel

When I first heard about this young lady, I had no idea how to pronounce her name, Nor did I think she was Swedish. I heard her voice and The thought of what she looked like perplexed me any time her voice pierced my EarDrums.
Her name is Lykke Li no lie, her shit is Fire MANG! Her beats match her rhythm, her voice matches her atitude... and word on the street she has a thing for black dudes! Holla at Ya GWALLA Miss. Li!!

Her Album Youth Novel is out now! suggest you hop on her as soon as possible!
it is produced by Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John and Lasse Mårtén, it is rather experimental and dreamy, fitting her light airy vocals to a tee.
In an album awash in brilliance, standouts include "Dance dance dance" (tapped percussion and strummed percussion, a squidgy Sax solo building to a nice choir finale), the sunny "I'm good, I'm gone" (with a killer chorus and lovely keyboard flourishes), the acoustic/Pop "Let it fall", the lilting Jazz/Folk "Little Bit" (which wouldn't sound out of place on a Kings of Convenience CD), the stark yet astonishingly beautiful ballad "Hanging high", the acoustic spoken largely instrumental "This trumpet in my head" (of course daintily adorned with trumpet playing), the buzzing Björk-like "Complaint department", the hand clap-filled Jazzy/Synth number "Breaking it up", and the brooding, almost hymnal closing number "Window blues" (with haunting harmonies).
